Associate Attorney


 James R. Joling is an Associate Attorney at Murphy, Johnson, & Trampe S.C.. He was born and raised in Kenosha, attended Kenosha Bradford High School, and graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Attorney Joling completed his J.D. at Michigan State University College of Law, graduating cum laude. During his time in law school, Attorney Joling competed on Michigan State’s Child Welfare Moot Court team and contributed to Michigan State being ranked as the #1 Moot Court program in the nation in 2020. Attorney Joling focuses his practice on all areas of family law and understands the emotional and legal complexities surrounding divorce and custody proceedings as he is a child of divorced parents himself. Outside of the workplace, Attorney Joling enjoys spending time with his wife, Alex, and dog, Sadie and enjoys all things Disney.
